To recap:
-No flash
-no multitasking
-iPhone OS, not full OSX
-locked to iTunes
-no camera, front or back
-have to buy a dongle for anything remotely useful
-higher price than most netbooks
-Not a true tablet in that it has no keyboard
-screen ratio leaves huge boarders for widescreen movies
-closed App ecosystem, “apple knows best” approach
Honestly, other than potential future apps, I cannot see any reason to pay more than a netbook for this.

personally, i would get an iPad, its a big iTouch better for apps and browsing i think looks amazing ;D

Battery life 1/4 that of serious E-books
No expandable memory
John Markoff is an apple fanboy, tell me how this is a “Kindle killer” and Amazon should be worried when you cant even read outside, for more than 10 hours without charge and without scratching your eyes out.
And this is most certainly NOT the ultimate web browsing experience without flash.
NYTimes has no credibility in this industry..

I don’t get it? Can you use things like word and powerpoint on the IPad? Or can you just use it to present your presentations?
well.. thu’ I have a cell phone and I have a laptop too, but I’m sure as hell gettin me an ipad.. I won’t be carryin any more books or my laptop to college.. it’s just a great device not bigger then a copy book..
