What is up with ESPN, banning Jimmy Kimmel from Monday Night Football? They should ban Tony Kornheiser instead

Can anyone tell me what happen and is this a good PR move for ESPN, since Jimmy Kimmel is a big star for ABC, because ABC is partner with ESPN. They should ban Tony Kornheiser and have him do PTI only.

I can barely stand Kornheiser on PTI, let alone MNF… His voice is almost as annoying as Macy Gray.
Kimmel took some joking shots at Joe Theismann no longer being with the MNF crew. He said something to the effect of him being at home watching the game with steam coming out of his ears.
Funny thing is that Joe Theismann thought the comments were humorous, and he didn’t feel slighted. Apparently ESPN felt differently. They love to remove humor (i.e. Dennis Miller) and replace it with dull, verbose columnists (i.e. Tony Kornheiser).
I hate Tony Kornhole.
He is OK on PTI but he is a total retard in the booth.
email ESPN.com and tell them how you feel.
I agreee.. but I dont like any of those guys . Kornheiser is the probably the best of the 3 but that isnt saying much. Jaws is arrogant and way to biased agaisnt certain teams. And Torrico is boring. Kornheiser at least adds some entertainment value.
They need to clean house next year. Get some interesting people in there.
ESPN needs to ban ALL entertainers from visiting the booth during a game. I tuned in to watch a football game. I did not tune in to hear what some talk-show hack has to say about something totally different.
Show me the game, and keep your weak attempts at humor to yourself. If the game’s a blowout, you’re not going to keep people watching by bringing CarrotTop into the stinking booth.
yeah I agree…Kimmel is a hothead chops buster but makes the games very exciting and thats what the NFL should be about. Kornheiser and the MNF crew is a huge disgrace. I wonder if they know they are boring and their ratings are DEE DEE DEEEE down the drain.

They need to lighten up. They knew when he got into the booth is was going to say something crazy like that. He got Matt Damion pissed at him for cutting him off his show once he was on stage. That’s what he’s known for. He must have stuck a nerve with someone other than the producer about this issue if Theisman thought it was humorous.
