Classic Game Room HD – RED RING OF DEATH review Xbox 360
Watch in high definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews the dreaded Xbox 360 Red Ring of Death! Wow, this is not awesome. Although CGRHD likes blinking red things and believes the “red ring of death” or RROD for short, to be an excellent warning sign that something is wrong…. the fact that it even exists is a problem given the high price of an Xbox 360 and the fact that many, many, many people get to play Red Ring of Death when they don’t want to. How does this Red Ring of Death video footage compare to the Blue Ring of Death? Well, there isn’t a blue ring of death. Just a red one. And when you get it that means that its time to contact Microsoft and their Xbox 360 support department and request warranty service. Three red rings, three years of warranty is what they claim. CGRHD is out to review how fast this problem is resolved because we having a working Atari 2600 and 7800 from 1986 as well as numerous Sega consoles that still work, a SNES, Colecovision and Magnavox Odyssey 2. This is the red ring of death. Now lets see how this warranty service works out…. the good news is that Microsoft does respond to emails asap and Im already on the way to getting it repaired.

no, it is not. The xbox core and the xbox premium were the first to come out. the premium had a 20GBhdd and came with a headset and ethernet cable.
The core had no hard drive and also wired controllers.
the xbox arcade replaced the core.
i got the red ring an i just turned it off and 20 mins later it worked fine and i know it works fine because i play mw2 on it

Blowing on the cartridges was NOT a design flaw, you had to do it because if you didn’t clean your games, they would get dirty and dusty and not read right. In fact, that pretty much happens with discs too, and its worse because they get fucking scratched, and never work the same again unless you have that expensive ass disc fixer. If you kept your stuff clean and away from dust, then there is no need to blow. Some of my NES games are inside boxes that Nintendo made to keep safe.

If you have a problem though go play old game consoles til they fall apart and then you will have to get emulators for it. Cause that’s always fun :/

He takes complete care of them, they might have a few scratches, but thats what happens, your always gonna get your stuff scratched a bit.
The problem with the 360 is that it the 3 rings of death was actually done by Microsoft on purpose to make their warranty’s profit money from gamers, and that is fucked up.
People who designed older systems never did such things because they wanted to make the best systems out there, and you have assholes like Micro-fuck that don’t think like that.
Your saying how your old Video Game consoles still work but how much do you play them compared to the xbox 360? It didn’t even look like you took care of those consoles… and the PS3 and Wii have similar problems. It’s not a fair comment to say some of this stuff because that like if i said years later “Oh Playstation 8 sucks my Xbox (original) still works”. Plus PS3 = Yellow Light of Death.

@MercuryMorrison1 The arcade XBOX is the oldest one, that`s why it doesn`t have any accessories, like the Headset, the HD cable and the Ethernet. Also, it has a tiny HDD.

hey real story mine caught it at ma boy house. Turned it off for bout 2 hours cuz i was scared of wat would happened. turned it back on cuz we was bored and still to this day never had it again. its bout 2 and a half years old now
I bought a launch premium Xbox 360 when they were first released. It lasted for about 2 years before it went RROD. Had it sent in for repairs 2 times, After both repairs it went RROD. So I scraped it and got a brand new Xbox Arcade and so far its been great. Hoping it doesn’t haunt me with more RROD bullshit. I’ve got to much money invested in games to just give up on owning a 360.

lol so i had this party and every1 was playing my xbox and then like7 hours later my xbox got the 3 rings and im like oh shit yelling at every1 to turn it off and then 2 hours later i turned it on and now it works perfectly…

lol RRoD only means your xbox overheated and it cant do anything just let ur xbox cool down. ive had RRoD 3 times and my xbox was hot as hell, i just got some icecubes and a cold towel and put it over the hot parts. an hour later it worked fine. (I just game non-stop at night)
